    The Film Premiere of the film "Michael Snowden in his Studio" With an interview by Robin Paine MFA, Chair Friends of Edinburgh University Visual Arts. A visit to the extraordinary studio of eminent sculptor Michael Snowden Situated in a former silversmith's workshop in Bruntsfield, Edinburgh. The studio is a repository of a life's work.  Michael also taught sculpture at Edinburgh College of art from 1965 - 1995. The film ends with a tribute to Michael from a former student, Jill Watson MRSS.

    The David Talbot Rice Memorial Lecture 2022 Professor Juan Cruz, Principal, Edinburgh College of Art. November 3rd at 6:30 pm. Before joining RCA in 2014, Professor Cruz held positions at Liverpool School of Art and Design and Goldsmiths College. He has taught at other institutions around the world and was Artist’s Fellow at Kettle’s Yard, University of Cambridge. Professor Cruz is an artist who employs a broad range of approaches to his work, including video, performance, text and site-specific works. He is a member of the Tate Liverpool Council, a trustee of the John Moore's Liverpool Exhibition Trust and a Director of the International Awards for Art Criticism.
