A memoir of a life-model at ECA in the 1970s
Life-drawing and painting used to be pillars of syllabi in Schools of Art. Part-memoir part review of its place in ECA history, Robin Paine was one of the last models to pose for the Diploma exam at ECA. She has been practising life-drawing all her life and has taught the subject at College level including School of Visual Arts, New York and Boston’s School of the Museum of Fine Art.
