Margaret was born in New York and studied photography at The School of Visual Arts and the Royal College of Art. She lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland. She creates filmic portraits which weave together poetry and ethnography, actuality and abstraction.
Interested in historic film methods, as well as realist performance and documentary narratives, Salmon is in post-production on her first long form film, Eglantine.
