Born in 1870, the son of an Irish immigrant baker, John Quinn became one of the most important collectors of modern and avant-garde art of his generation. Between 1911 and 1924, Quinn assembled a collection of approximately 2,500 paintings, works on paper, and sculptures by more than 150 European and American artists, which he displayed at his Central Park West apartment.

Robin Paine, celebrated artist and Chair of FEUVA, will give an illustrated lecture.
